Sod can only live so long on a pallet, so install it quick.  Especially if it is hot and sunny.  Once installed, water the whole area sodded.  I mean soak it!  Keep it moist for about two weeks or until roots are established. 

Now that the sod is rooted, set your mower a little higher than usual for the first mowing.  Gradually lower to the recommended height.  But don't scalp it!

As for regualar watering schedule, keep your eye on rain fall.  Water in the morning so that the water gets to soak in the soil insted of just evaporating in the heat.

Weeds everywhere!  There are too many to mention and too many ways to kill them.  Whatever you do, do it on a warm day with little wind.  Call us for specifications!  GLAD TO HELP!
